Only then will he be able to take his rightful place in the pantheons of the Builders of the Indian Economy. The aim should not be to help, assist or support him, but instead, it should enable, assert and propel his potential into the upliftment of the Indian economy.
In order to achieve this aim, concerted efforts must be made by the people in-charge to develop the capabilities of the farmers through education and capacity building. Thus, the need of the hour is to identify and train bright young minds in both the farms and the agriculture based business. There is a need to develop the skill set of the men and women in the field of agriculture. This will sensitize and sustain the effectiveness of the intervention.
