Mode of Action
- When Beauveria bassiana spores of the fungus come in contact with the cuticle (skin) of susceptible insects, they germinate and grow directly through the cuticle to the inner body of their host.
- The fungus by taking nutrients from the insect proliferates and colonize the entire insect and thus drains the insect of nutrients and the infected insects eventually dies.
